Oh I live in liverpool - which is a place apparently devoid of nice mk2s!

Only ever see a few shabby drivers etc

I have only had my golf for about a week but hav found myself lookin for other golfs more.  The other day coming home from work I was on the by-pass and I spotted an R32 coming past me in the right lane, followed by a new Golf GTI.  I quickly manouvered into the right lane to make a mini convoy.

I dont mean to be sexist so no body take it the wrong way but I always let people out if I can and have noticed that the only people who dont acknowlege of thank me are women.  This really fecks me off and worries me in equal measures.

^^ Yeah I've noticed that women are less likey to thank me for letting them out BUT the ones that do say thinms tent to make a beigger deal out of it!

Like with a guy you get a hand raise - which is enough. But with girls I seem to get a hand raise a big smile and a mouthed "thank you" - as you pointed out though, that's on the rare occasions they bother to acknowledge at all! It really pissed me off when people don't acknowledge

I actually went though a phase of blowing kisses at girls who let me out or what ever - it normally seemed to make 'em smile, maybe I should bring that back!

Ive found that its the mothers on school runs etc that say thankyou (like you said) in a really appreciative manor.  Its more the city centre female drivers (the ones who have a "high flying" job) that are the d1cks.

^ there is nothing more likely to get me waving my fist and cursing than when some f**ker just takes it for granted that you were going to let them out, or doesn't give you a smile or nod of thanks for your trouble.
