I need a new alternator for my 16v GTi. Anyone know if there is one specific to this model or is it the same for all MK3s?

It all depends what year your car is and whether its got air con and remember to measure the distance from the pulley to the alternator body and output current.

Should be able to get your old unit reconditioned with new brushes, beraing and diode pack,  better alternative and saves hassle and pain

If it is a 90 mph per hour wind and you drive your car at 90mph downwind, if you stick your head outside would you feel the wind?
