Mk3 16v Fuel rail
« on: 11 May 2007, 11:18 »
I have a small fuel leak at the junction of the feed pipe and the fuel rail.
This seems to be a flexible joint. I disturbed it when I was doing the coolant leak problem as there is a securing bolt for the manifold right next to and under this connector.

My question is - can this joint be replaced easily?
Is it supposed to be a flexible joint?

There are some seals in there, pop down to your local VW dealer and get some newuns.  It might be the line itself is perished though, worth poping it off andf having a look.  Halfords sell fuel line bit cheaper than VW.  Just make sure its injection hose!

It was just the joint. Seems to have sealed itself again now!
Well no leaks on trip to RTTS and mpg of 32 overall.
