haha! yeah! if you want a dub to keep you going while you get a cab at a later (affordable date) like i did! then its worth looking at something like a 1.6 driver mk2, or a small engine mk1, or possibly a mk3 depending on budget!
in my case i had a first car for a year, (non vag) then i got my mk2 driver 1.6, which i loved and was cheap to insure!! now with 3yrs no claims i can insure a cab for £1000 fully comp, with 3 points (SP30 -in a driver!!), 3 non fault accidents and all mods declared including future mods - lowered, stainless, audio system, interior retrim and immobiliser!
