HELP, i wil currently have a golf mk2 gti 1.8 8v on a j plate, ive hav been having a few problms with her, its after shes warmed up abit, or bin sitting in traffic, drivin along the 3rd gear n it sort of stalls, the re vs drop vry vry low, n put ur foot down n does nthin 4 a few seconds then flys, the power just flows. After drivin u cn rly smel the petrol. and whn u go to start her bak she doesnt, jst turns ova, n tries to start, thn bang life. and again the smel of petrol is so stong. I hav dne a bit of research, spkin to sum of the boys and a garage, i replaced the air flow meter. was fine 4 abit but now its got worst!!!
