hi guys does anyone know how to relocate the petrol cap to the inside boot? im having the car totally smoothed of and i want to smooth of the petrol cap but am wondering how to do it? so basically everything i need to fill up i wood open the boot and fill up,...
also i was wondering if anyone had done the conversion to put the petrol cap behind the rear light cluster???

I think the behind the light is some major fab work. I have seen it where the filler neck basically comes through the rear o/s wheel arch and has an aero cap mounted to it there...That was in a mk1 but the same principle applies id assume.The filler neck seems to run in the same place on both cars so i would assume its a case of a bit of rubber hosing to join the filler neck to the filler tube... let us know how you get on mate

i wanted to do that then was told it illege to have the petrol filler inside the car but if anyone know a loop hole would be very interested thanks

I have seen plenty of cars with them in the boot...what about fuel cells in the boot??

VW Bettles have them!

I wouldnt consider it due to spillage and smells.

you def cant be a true petrol head len if you dont like the smell of petrol lol ... its great
