What Exhaust?

I have a Twin rectangular Sebring cat back system on my mk 3 not too loud not raspy looks cool but not boy racer in your face booyaka style and just as luck would have it i am selling it. It is not very old and was on the car when i bought it and i want to change it to make it mine if you know what i mean. I personaly think bhp gain out of an exhaust is bullsh!t unless i see it proven

On my mk4, the 2 exhaust-pipes point downwards and doesn't protrude past the rear skirt.

If I were to get a new exhaust for my mk4, how would I fit it (as the bodywork would get in the way) ?  I fancy a pair of chrome-look shotgun type pipes (like on the mini cooper s)
