Turning right
« on: 05 May 2007, 21:17 »
Further to my last post of little niggles again

97 2.0 16v

128k

turning left fine with ease all the way to lock

turn right loads more pressure / resistence felt with steering wheel for the initial turn then free's up.

this happens at speed and stand still

any ideas

hi, check the rubber gaiter on the right steering track rod, it's possibly twisted and will add resistance to the turning. could also be on the other side too.
