does anyone know where i can find a how to guide on maintaining them and keeping them tuned? been messed around so much thought id look into doing it myself,well as much as i can!  :undecided: any help would be superb!

Well lane motors towards leeds set carbs up thats who dubsport used.

sweet as bud! my old vr was all set up there! just thought there might some guidelines somewhere on google or something for setting up and maintenance!? will keep looking!! :wink:

What do you actually what to check for?!

Alot of the tuning should be done before the carbs are fitted eh - barrel size / jetting  depending on the CC of your engine and peak revs. If that's already been done all you should really have to worry about is checking they stay in sync. Hopefully this all means something to you!!

thats exactly what i need to do,apparently on my 1.8 16v with twin 40's,they arent in sync,so this would retard the engine,so im told,also its running a bit rich as it seems to pop flames every now and again! :embarassed:
