If your going for a tubby its best to make it all fully custom. thats how i did it on my old 1.4. you need to be good with a welder and its not cheep, if done right though its worth it! If your looking to run high boost you will need to look into engine rebuilding as well. you can get away with plonking two Head gaskets on to reduce compression but if you want to run serious boost, you need stronger pistons etc... depends how high you go. At least with two H/Gs 9 times out of 10 the gasket will blow before the piston.
