GTi Side strips
« on: 03 May 2007, 00:49 »
Hey folks

I was just wondering how easy it is to swap the black side strips on my 1.6 Driver to thinner GTi style ones? My only worry is that after removing the larger Driver style ones, there will be a horrible difference in paint colour? Also, how easy is it to pop them off and put on some new ones?

It's a 5dr by the way :)

they unclip quite easily, usually the paint underneath should be ok. Expect to have to replace some clips though, they are quite fragile ;)

true also the wider trim seems to grip the paint and leave a long thin indented line. so lots of tcut and elbow grease to smooth it out

£30 a set where please I will buy all thats going, after bbs alloys leather interiors it is the most comman thing we are asked for
