oil level

Hi my mk3 1400 has a problem my oil light was flashing i changed the oil and filter and it solved the problem but after 2000 miles the oil light starts flashing and the dipstick shows well too much oil does anyone know how to solve this problem

If its got too much on the dipstick then drain some out.
Too much is as bad as too little!

doesn't the oil light flash for oil pressure???  :undecided:

the oil level was ok when i did the oil and filter and i dont know if its fuel leaking into the oil and i have changed the pressure switch

put a pressure tester (gauge) in the oil system, they screw into the oil pressure sensor hole to check the pressure, better than buggering your engine, fuel can only get in your oil if you have a mechical fuel pump which runs of a cam at the bottom of the engine. they can leak back thou but it's rare. hope this has helped any
