thinking of extra speed and bhp u should go down the nos idea 2 reasons 1 its cheap upgrade u talking round 1k to get sum great power !! 2,its serious fun !! :p

i was thinking the same thing but im not sure if i can get it for my 1.6CL, Any ideas? i wouldnt mind a nice 50BHP shot of n2o.

you'll love it until you meltsyour engine, its so addictive, you always want more. we but 200bhp in a 1.8 mk1 befor it melted!!!

Is it actually illegal to have NOS or just to use it??? I reckon the insureance for me with NOS would be a beeatch..... :-\

There is a legal amount you can run but its only about 10BHP

Its illegal to have the system switched on but not illegal to have it in the car. Most insurance companies will insist that your bottles valve is shut when your on the road. It is illegal to have a bottle with a valve open if your running over the legal limit. However theres nothing wrong with having a bottle rigged up and ready to use as long as the valve is closed and your not boosting when the police are looking  ;)
