Yes, got my VW single DIN adapter from a dealer. I don't have a part number, but I remember it was very easy to find on the parts computer. There's obviously the single DIN aperture, and below that a small "cubby hole" with a rubber mat - ideal for sunglases etc. Less than £20 as I recall. The Audioleads version wasn't a great match for the rest of the dashboard - definitely worth going for the VW version. 1000 miles seems like a lot, but I use my car for work, had a couple of long M1 trips, and managed it in around 10 days. Everything loosening up nicely now.

I'll give the dealer a phone today and see if they keep them in stock - or whether they can order me one in for the car arriving!

1000 miles is about 3 months driving for me usually... but I reckon it'll be done in a week or 2 when I get the car

I called the VW parts department today and got told it was £17 for the VW Fascia adapter with cubby hole.
They're going to keep one for me for when I pick up the car.

I also ordered the X001 - for £225 and the 300BT for £113... plus £10 postage.  Not bad!!
The X001 is currently out of stock, but they're getting them in on the 2nd June - so hopefully I'll get it before the car  :undecided:

That's a good recommendation. In fact I spoke to Source last week about putting an Alpine X001 in my Edition 30. However it seems that a new adapter currently in development will be required to allow functionality with my MFSW. Care to comment? Thanks.
