Mk2 Door security?

The door on my fiesta was ripped from the top and bent down for them to get in.

I've noticed on the golf that there seems to be space and mounting holes at the top of the door for what looks like an additional door catch? If this is the case where would I get the catch from at what sort of price? If not then what is that space for?

i think there just holes.. they may have been used as acces ports while making the golf....in factory.

ive never heard of additional locks on the door...
if people are going to bend the door back then you may need to be thinking of upgrading your alarm to external perimeter sensor.....depending on if you have an alarm and what make it is they sometimes do add ons so you can upgrade your alarm to this... if you dont have an alarm clifford do theses but they are expensive..... the next best thing would be

If they really want in there gonna break a window mate, alarms the only safe way.

I have a cat1 plus my windows are security filmed, which means they can't be broke even when shattered, they showed me a demo and there aint no way your get in, ice direct in peterbrough did mine (the only thing i worry about is if i crash and can't get the doors open or windows down, buger )
