MK2 16V servo will it fit?

Will a servo from a 1.8 16V GTI MK2 fit a mk1?
1983 1.6L 8v: S/S 4-2-1 branch, S/S CentreBox, M-u-f-f Diver exhaust, SPC, Wofsburg Dials + Blue LED Lights, Debadged & Smoothed, Porsche Green,

yes it will, alot of mk1 servo's have been changed to mk2 16v bcuz alot of people have problems with the brakes (mine are mint! lol)
what happens is over time the rod that cnnects the pedal to the servo bends therefore making the brakes less efficient.

it will fit but with a little modification.  You need to fit the MK2 servo along with it, and you have to chop the thread down to the same length as the MK1 item, then fit the clevis pin, spring etc from the old servo :)
