German plates

Hi,

are the german (pressed metal) plates legal ? even if they have the GB symbol on ?

I saw a kid driving with some on the other day, thought they looked sweet and mine are pretty knackered (especially the rear) and will need replacing.

it's the font that the plod don't like.....their fancy new anpr machines can't read them :grin: :grin:
you could buy pressed steel uk font plates...I believe dubmeister sell them???

well these are mine....





ooh slap me with yas £30 officer... lol

besides gettin pulled on wayto gti fest for fog lights, i havent been pulled since havin me private plates on me mk4 spaced as they are above when going to mc'ds for a milkshake on a nightshift dinner break..... lol... that milkshake cost me £30 the barstewards,,,,, but seen as i hardly use old sparkly now apart from shows etc i can afford the fee if i get stumped... lol

loads better than gaylord legal plastic things

i've got some pressed one for elvis, havent been bothered to put them on yet though. yes they are illegal they're supposed to be strictly show plates

Well I have bought some, euro plates in non GB font.  :evil:

Well actually, :embarassed:, will buy some english ones as well for a backup, so I can change em if I need to. If I go on holiday and the car is sat on the road will change em for the english ones.
