Yeah I thought the same. It did look superb and had had pleanty of love and cash thrown at it but after all that it was a 14 year old car that was starting to rust, had 143k on the clock and had no service history! With it only being a 1.4 aswell i think iv done quite nicely. The bm is so much fun to drive, especially with the roof down. im goin to keep my eye out for a mk2 to use for the winter though, can't stand bein dubless for long

thats the best mk3 ive seen..ever! its just clean and subtle.. :cool:

an 8v gti would be ideal, depends how reliable (read cold) the bimmer turns out to be. Just seen some gorgous bbs rm's on ebay, wish i hadnt looked now!
