No Paint code sticker....

Hi all were else can i find the paint code on my early VR6 as there is no sticker in the boot, will it be on the vin plate if so where... :smiley:

hmmmm, you might be lucky and find one in the door shut of the drivers or passengers door, or on the inside front cover of the manual - if you've still got it...

yeah.. manuals the next port of call if its been removed from the spare tyre well

if thats your car on the left it looks the same colour as mine.. black magic/lc9z
Used to have a '97 MK3 16v GTI 3dr in 'Black Magic'... now have a '55 Civic Type-S...

I found an extra sticker on the off side front wing, to the side of the headlight - i can just about see it from the front of the car.

Bulk, looks like black magic / lc9z as suggested earlier.

Only porblem is there is about 9 shades of black magic - a decent body shop will be able to match it though. Thats what the guy did when I had mine sprayed.

Ive just found my paint code in my service book its saying its LA9V and thats brilliant black dose any one know if this is a metalic colour its just that mines metalic and i thought brilliant black was a non metalic colour? :smiley:

According to my listing LA9V is Brilliant Black and its classed as metallic
