GTI vs VR6

i was out and bout last night and i ened up behind a VR6 (i think there 2.8 but correct me if im wrong) he suddely poot his foot down so, as ya do! i did the same i was keeping up with him virtualy every gear change apart from when it was in the higher revs and hes was starting to pull away. iv got a 2.0 8v GTI and was wondering if this is normal i.e the vr6 might jut have a higher top end.

Well mate either he was messing with ya, he was in a nail or he just couldnt drive. I know a couple of lads with 8vs and my Vr leaves em for dust in any gear. Did have a mk2 16v right up my arse the other day gave me a real good run for my money. ( I do not condone street racing )

was worryed at one point because i decide to spin round the roundabout and pulled over to use the phone (not thats worse than racing lol) and he pulled up behind n statred gettin out so i sh!t it n floored it lol. he prob was takin the piss unless it was a gti badged up as vr6 because he looked like he didnt desirve it lol
