I really dont know how they got it, cant have been me leaving it unlocked or all 4 doors would have been unlocked  :-\. But the drivers door was undone when i got back. Head unit was a sony Xploid one. Gonner have to stick the the tape player for a bit :(. Worse things can happen  :).
I didnt take my face in cos i end up forgetting it or putting it in my jeans pocket and sitting down and snapping it which is what happened to my last one  :'(.

sorry to hear of your loss.... :(
slim jimming or they use old car keys wiggling them about hoping to aline the sliders in the barrel up....

did this trick on mates sterring lock when he broke the key.... and it worked... cheapo lock......with the disklok you have no chance!

i wish they would return to using codes again they are so much easier no faffing about with the panal...
people are fed up with this so most leave it on and they get stolen. this is why theives look because too many people do with i forgot to remove it myself once and the nexted night panal removed of course my car a metro got done at 2 am moss alarm scared them off! ;D 2 wire fit bodge job.....it worked! that was in 1999....... and still using the moss same set up
on my golf! ;D although i'm going to upgrade to a microscan talking radar primeter protection....
cheap enough

toad immobiliser cat 2
moss alarm..... being upgraded to better system soon.......
disklok which was brought from car boot sale ?10 ;D

when doing work on the car i looked at the toad wiring and the only way around it would be to bypass it and that would take ages.........

and at 197000 miles would a theif risk the engine going bang.....plus its got faulty starter it just keep whizzing doesnt turn engine over i need to replace it..... when money allows......plus the fuel pump relay can be a pain sometimes as the thing which the relay slides into like a spade connector type things need squashing back together as they dont contact the relay terminals very well but since ive bent the relay terminals slightly its not played up for a while.....

most old cars dont get nicked .....thieves dont know if they run properly! it bad enough with a hellicopter above them when they do!!!!!!! ;D
