Hi guys. Have tried on a couple of diesel forums but had no luck so hopefully someone here can help.
My mk2 GTD has trouble starting when warmed up.
From cold, glow plug light comes on in dash and car starts first time.
Once warmed up and restarted after standing for a while, glow plug light doesnt come on, starter motor turns no problem but takes 5-20 turns before starting.
Restarting immediately after stopping engine, glow plug light is off but it starts after a couple of turns.
Any suggestions more than welcome. Plus if anyone knows of any haynes manuals or similar that cover MK2 diesels, esp GTD, that would be great as Haynes dont seem to do one so far as i can see.
