Hi,

Other than the huge expense of superchargin I was wondering if anyone has any ideas on getting a few extra BHP to the wheels of the MK5 R32. I can only find induction kits for the MK4 R32. Anyone know of any induction kits for the MK5 and if so are they worth the money?  Or any other ideas?

Thanks!

I know they can be remapped to 280bhp without too much fuss.

new exhuast, remap and look into getting an uprated Haldex controller

should give you a nice increase whilst not completely emptying your wallet!!

on the other hand don't worry about the cash and find someone who will do a turbo conversion on it

you only live once and you can't take your money with you when you're gone!

APS do a 295bhp@6700rpm  &  272lb.ft@4100rpm conversion for around £2000

It involves an ECU remap, plus a free flowing exhaust system and a pair of fitted Schrick cams that have been developed especially for this specific conversion.

APS also do a Haldex performance ECU for £600 fitted.

If you can get hold of the first issue of Performance Tuner mag (April 07) then there is a 5 page feature on this conversion along with a company profile of APS

295bhp@6700rpm  , wow that's high up for the 3.2 motor, wonder what it gives at a more user friendly rev band.

Sorry I meant I was getting my R32 in 4 weeks. Was just wondering for the future what my options are to go faster! APS seems a sensible consideration.
