where to go for a 1.8T conversion

Pretty much as topic states, where's the best places in the UK for this conversion into a mark2? Also how much will i be looking at spending?

There's plenty engines going about but it's just the whole job that seems labour intensive (read nightmare) considering that the mk4 ecu doesn't work unless a lot of pish is transferred (read instruments and steering column)

£6700?! i thought it would be a fair bit cheaper than that to be fair like.

Could try storm developments too but they wont be cheap either.

If you can get one for about 4.5k you're doing very well.

To give you an idea on 1.8T conversion these start at £7000+VAT little bit cheaper than the R32
 
Please do note that no one can come close to the quality of work that we carry out we use very late low mileage engine with the highest quality.

cheers guys, that's gotten me rid of that idea then! although a R32 conversion would be nuts.

i guess it's gonna be down to saving up for a ibiza or leon cupra, or a mk4 gti instead cos it turns out to be cheaper for the whole car than just a conversion (all 1.8Ts of course)

there's one on piston heads, with k04 turbo and standalone management.. 280 comfortable bhp with a little mapping.

good shout lads! for some reason i never thought of this.. i was thinking crazy westfield with no doors for £4k and just wearing a jacket when it rains
