Hi im new to the site, im 18 and live in lincolnshire, i bought this mk2 golf last week its a 1.3 gti/g60 replica. hope you folks dont mind a non gti car in your forum?? its just i would have one but insurance would kill me.

Anyway here she is

cheers for the comments, hopefully im going to start the strip down this weekend, the engnes coming out and beng striped down puttng all new gaskets and seals n and anything else i come across cleaning her up. im takng the whole front subframe off and going to give that a good rust proofing as the same on the rear. ive bought big black diamond disks and spacers to fit standard calipers. also in the mean time its going in the workshop to be prepd for paint.

can anybody tell me how much my car looks lowered by the pics?? my bros mate said he thinks its lowered around 70 to 90mm

^ from the front splitter i'd say about 65-70mm?
