Had them on my 16v. I like them. They were a perfect fit, but used to take them off when going up curbs.

fit some with some flint tip plates , then lower it right down till they scrape the floor , would be cool at night see sparks flyin

I like mud flaps, they give it that rally style, but if your car is more street style then they probably would look a bit odd in my opinion.
