Just taken the MAF(mass air flow meter) clean the two little hotwires with a cotton bud and some  carb cleaner...and she runs just like the 1st day I had her...well happy :smiley: :smiley: :smiley:

so exactly where is the MAF? Tried to identify it myself from the Haynes but to no avail!!!

It by the air box between this and the pipe, it has got Hitachi writen on it.

There pics of the part on this site type in MAF sensor in the search bit, have a good look around and they are there.

Ummmm but I cant see any pics on here! Work filters block them!
