Just taken the MAF(mass air flow meter) clean the two little hotwires with a cotton bud and some carb cleaner...and she runs just like the 1st day I had her...well happy

so exactly where is the MAF? Tried to identify it myself from the Haynes but to no avail!!!

It by the air box between this and the pipe, it has got Hitachi writen on it.

There pics of the part on this site type in MAF sensor in the search bit, have a good look around and they are there.

it's only the 8v with simos/siemens injection that has a maf sensor..... i would post a pic but i cant access photobucket at work.... try this link for the last time i put a pic of my engine on here
