GTI 8v Digifant - O2 sensor?

Do i have an O2 sensor on my Digi engined gti? if so then where is it and where can i buy one from?


I don't think a semi will give the same results

An O2 sensor is for cat cars, unless it was an option they stoped production on the MK2 b4 they where law. If you do have a cat though the sensor is screwed into the exhaust with wiring to it. Take a look under the car!

i havent got one then, thnk you :)

any idea where i can buy a genuine blue temp sender online? GSF have them but apprently they "fail prematurely"! I have been googling for the last half hour and cannot find one, not even on ebay.  :cry:

Nowhere that i know of online, only over the counter from a dealership.  :sad:

ordered mine from the dealership as they did not have them in stock.  Cost me £14.  The one to order has part number 025 906 041 A which is down for catalyst equip cars but ignore that and buy it anyway.  This info on the part number was previously posted by rubjohnny here

cats were an option on a MK2, but you would be hard pressed to find one in the UK! as said, blue sender from a dealer is the way forward :)

thanks guys, i'll have it fitted on friday as its booked in for timing/CO anyway. hopefulyl will stop the pinking i get, which is getting worse especially on long journeys.
