Bloody hell - you're just as bad as me!  But then you've got a rational reason behind your car turnover.... I haven't

The car looks amazing and protecting it shows that you are a keen enthusiast.

Where can I get exactly the same front leather cover please?

Thanks,
av

Looking fantastic!

I haven't been keeping track of the forums, but I recall thinking when you posted your first Ed30 shots that the car looked too high. Has it been lowered since? or just settled? as it looks  now

PS - Are the mk2 pics taken in Ipswich? looks like Woodbridge rd (used to live there) - could be totally wrong, but I recall you saying you were Ipswich based)

I dont really understand why you'd order another ED30 when you seemed quite disappointed with it at first - I've not been on here for a while so I may have missed your change of heart, but it sounded to me like you were R32 all the way!

I am an R32 fan BUT I can get one next year and the Edition 30 is a limited edition that I will keep for good. Plus it doesn't cost the earth for fuel bills.

It seems to have settled.  As for the Mk2 it is in Ipswich near Woodbridge Rd but it may have to go as I have been offered around £5750 for it with the BBS RS001s and the guy knows someone with another 3-door Oak Green 16v - 1 owner - with 27k miles who may take around £10k for the car

a 27k car! wow, sounds a gem,

Do you still have the other mk2's and mk1?

Fond memories of living in Christchurch Park area, I recognised that road as being one of the roads oout east towards BT.

Ed30 looks fab now, wheel/arch proportions just right.

Illyun, both cracking motors!

I bet Mrs Illyun just loves you, though, for only getting a 3dr, and not five, especially when tying to strap little Illyun in the back seats!!!  :nerd:  :smug:

Serious :nerd: question, though.  Does the Ed30 not have tyre pressure monitoring, 'cause you have standard rubber snap-in tyre valves, rather than metal clamp-in valves with integrated pressure sensors ???

Interesting here Sean. Seems all GTi's and Ed30's now come with run of mill plastic valves unless you complain and get them changed. Mine went down as a manufacturing fault.

Anyway, i was lead to believe that the tyre pressure system runs via the abs sensors and detects variations in the rolling circumference of a wheel. Hence the valves don't matter do they?
