How low can you go ...

I'v been looking at my car and its too high. but the question is how low can you go without having any problems with speedbumps i don't go over lots but there are someplaces i go with them so don't want it to be a problem getting there. Was thinking Air bags so i could keep it low then pop it up for the speed bumps but too rich for me right now
So in short how low before i hit the bumps?

Well my old white one was on a 60mm drop from standard on a 16v, it only caught if i went over a speed bump too fast. So just slow down to about 10-15mph and you will be fine.
Mine had big bumpers and a deep chin spoiler on it too.

I got an audi now, big old thing, can take speed bumps at any speed, usually it's about 30-40.

someplaces are also keener on their bumps, ones in york are quite low-ish, altho there are 3 that are like moutains. but some places e.g hull haven't twigged that you can drive betweeen most of them
