mk3 (J) 5 door roof rack

I've been trying to find a roof rack for my mk3 5 door gti with a sunroof.
I read the other post on here which was similar but there isnt a post with the result.
So .. would these be any good?
If not, does anybody know the thule code?! Halfrauds tell me you cant ge tthem.
Im a surfer and at the moment I am using soft roof rack which straps through the doors, but i dont like it and want a permanent one

i have, couldnt come up with much and thought this place is the font of all Golf knowldge, so asked.

Gave up proper stand up surfing ages ago. I only lie down now!

Dunno about those ebay ones, would ask for a photo of the bars on the car!

I *think* it's thule number 404 but I might be mistaken. They're special fitments just for the mk3 shape. The eGay ones look ok though....

Whatever you do, do NOT get paddy hopkirk or other makes, get either Thule or VW ones only.
