Brake problems (I think)
« on: 10 April 2007, 16:14 »
I think my car is pulling slightly under braking to the left, not major just very slight

What do people think it might be, tyres are all OK

brake discs are pretty corroded on the rear, if the car has been stood they sometimes stick a bit as I set off. Planning on getting them replaced soon, just want to see if it coule be anything else

If its pullin to one side during braking then its definitely part of the braking system. Nowt else.

Could be a sticky caliper.

cheers Len, the mechanic said last year the rear discs were pretty corroded.

You can see they are through the alloys, will get them checked out and changed I think.

Would pulling like that fail the MOT, probably would but I have to ask.

I would say that yes it would fail. If its bad it might drag the car off the rollers!
