If its only just started then a couple of weeks should be fine as long as you drive steady and dont rag it rounds corners!

Had both go on a Renault 21 and was fine for 3 weeks and I was doing 70 miles each way all on twisty country roads!

hey guys,

reading you thoughts on Tank_Mk3's issue and possibly think I have a similar problem, have noticed a 'clicking' sound every now and again which appears to be coming from drivers side front wheel area, wasnt sure if it was a bracke issue or wheel bearing, but maybe you think it could be a cv joint if its a 'clicky' noise?

(sorry to hijack the thread, but your thoguhts appreciated)

cheers Andy

It gets worse when turning right.

its a droaning sound not a clicking and its there when i get to about 50mph and gets worse when on a bend to the right. is this going to be the bearings?

CV joints do sort of click, but its not now and again. Will be all the time during cornering. Its more like a clunk or thud.

Tank yours does sound more like wheel bearings. jack up that wheel and see how much movement there is in the wheel.
