What a weekend
« on: 10 April 2007, 09:01 »
Well I hope you all had as great a weekend as myself, one of the plus points was to get a second coat of Meguires Gold Class Wax on the car, so just had to go for a drive.

Oh and the motor’s run in now.

Blue really looks nice.  Shame that Ed 30 doesn't come in blue.

Indeed it was a good weekend...I spent Friday afternoon cleaning it back to showroom gleaming status (The Supraguard I think is well worth it, esepcially as it comes with a cleaning kit, and, when someone spills coffee on your seats , you can just clean it off)

I have fully run my Ed 30 in now, after an 800 mile round trip from London to Edinborough.  No traffic so made it up in about 7 hours.  Coming back (A1/M1) on Sunday evening, cut that down to 6.5!  Fuel economy was about 27mpg the whole way, avg speed of 68mph.  I did have 4 people in the car though, so assuming that might be the reason for lower than expected economy.

Have now started using S gear more...WOW this is a fast car.   VERY pleased.
