Taking Care of Rust
« on: 08 April 2007, 11:38 »
Hi there,

My MK1 has a fantastic spray job all over except the front right arch where i'm starting to see some bubbling and more recently the first signs of rust, it's only a small area, but i'd like to take care of it before it gets worse.

I figure use as many grades of wet and dry as possible to smooth the area down, which will no doubt leave me with some small areas that will need to be filled, prime it and respray.

I intend on really taking my time over it, has anyone got any links to or any advice for me? - I'm only going to do apart of the arch - not the entire wing, as it is only a tiny tiny area.
