Wipers won't park

Hi, I hope someone can help with this. I've done a search but can't find a definitive answer. The car is my son's 97 1.6 AFT GL, the wipers have stopped parking and only work on the fast speed. He's just fitted a brand new stalk assembly today but the problem persists :sad:. I've read that it could be a relay but we don't want to spend more cash in case it does not fix it   :undecided:.

Any advice would be welcome, thanks in anticipation.  :smiley:

I would go with the relay to be honest , not that expensive .

would have to be the relay or some kind of resistor, the only thing in the circuit is the relay and fuse, and the motor of course but only the relay would give these symptoms.

Thanks guys, it was the relay. Sorry it took so long to get back, had to source one from a scrappy, stealers wanted £22.  :smiley:
