Only the newest motors in the VAG group I.E> 05-06 onwards have slowly been making a transition over to 5x112 fitment, anything before that would be a 5x100 as gaz has been saying.

Sorry matey but you have 5x100 hubs, and 5x100 wheels. Even with wobble bolts you wouldn't get the wheels on as the holes just wouldn't line up enough.

they guy you bought them off.... well he knows about as much as you then.... passats are 112 pcd (later 5 stud ones).... which is why your 5x100 pcd rs4 copy wheels would not fit his passat and they fit yours.....

lesson learnd i think

mk3 5 stud cars are 5X100 PCD

You sure you are not getting this mixed up? Does he have a new passat? which would make his 112, and the alloys were 100 hence why they wouldn't fit?

That sounds more likely.

Thanks for your help Knightrider.

If the Santa Monica's will fit, do the Audi TT 6 spoke 17" alloys also fit?

Tyre wise, I was thinking of using 205/40/17.

Current - Mk 7.5 GTD with sunroof, keyless, Dynaudio, Pronav, , reverse camera, Art Velours trim and self park.
Previous -
Mk 7 GTD. Tornado red with Santiago wheels, Pro sat nav, keyless and winter pack.
Mk 6 Golf GT. Reflex silver, heated black leather, 18" Vancouver wheels, climate control, RCD 510 with DAB, Bluetooth, parking sensors, luxury & storage packs.
Mk 3 Golf GTi 8v Anniversary
Mk 2 16V

According to that link above then yes they do!

Tyre size is fine, you could go to 215/40's if ya like.
