I'll check on my ed30 as I'm sure that in the past when I've had it in auto wipe mode that it doesn't do the extra wipe. Also if the car stands still after you've used the windscreen washer it doesn't do the extra wipe.

2007 improvment then  :angry:

Nope! I can onnly think they must of had complaints about it.
I'd rather they kept IT, and got rid of the fooking stupid  (not being able to switch off) lights coming and going.

My standard m/y 07 GTI definately has the extra delayed sweep after the squirters !!!  :huh:

The follow me home lights can be changed in the Highline computer - or doncha have that ??

No I don't have highline, but even the dealer couldn't switch it off alltogether, only get it down to 10 seconds

Oh the useless stealers.  The lights stay on in multiples of 10 seconds, as you may have guessed, but you can definately turn them off too - just set the figure to "zero" - doh.  You can even programme different lengths of time for the turn on and turn off.

CC - do you have VAG-COM, or access to it?

My rear wiper gives the extra wipe, but def not the front!
