Hello, does anyone know wether the panels on a 1997 2.016v gti are bolted or welded?? THanks

The reason im asking is because i might be buying a gti16v thats had an accident (un-recorded). Its had a head on crash into a hedge. the bumper,lights,radiator etc..have been affected. The seller is asking for £395. Does this sound ok??

the front end on volkswagens are all bolt on!
as long as the chassi legs arent to badly damaged you should be fine!
