Oh well, another mystery of VW! All i know is mine came with a lid and no smoking pack, and prior to delivery this is what the dealer said I'd have as one of their second hand cars which was 2-3 years old had no lid and i was told it was old spec when i asked.
Everything seems a bit random at VW.
Mine too, non-smoker pack, storage compartment with lid, and 12V socket with another smaller circular lid. Model year build 7, delivery 1st Sep last year, PDI in June/July 06, so it must have been one of the first m-y 07s.
Still weired though as the Candy White Ed30 that I saw must be MY07 too. As has already been said, it seems to be random.
Still waiting to see mine, not too bothered either way.
