wow thats some damage, good man if you ca pull that much damage out.
I get this quite a lot when turbo engines come in when they have Garrett replacements fitted, take the turbo induction inlet hose off the see how much play there is in the turbo compressor... if you can move it loads then the turbo has gone.... look for wear on the blades or the housing unit… (ideally there should be no play at all on ball bearing turbo’s and slight play on standard turbo’s depending on oil pressure at time of inspection). Its quite easy to figure out if it’s the turbo as it will smoke at idle all the time.
that will basically work out if the turbos gone, then with an engine with loads of front end damage I would keep your eyes open and hope that everything else is ok..
