I'm still waiting for mine.

If it goes bong can I change it through the Highline and get a bing.

Only noticed this today :embarassed:

My TDI bonged and binged as soon as I got in the car and turned on the ignition if I didn't have my seatbelt on, or if my passenger didn't have theirs on. My ED30 only bong bings once it is travelling over around 10mph. Much better IMO

no seat belt sensors or occupancy sensors with the Recaro seats

Are you sure.  I have the same seats in my new RS4, and thought I noticed the seatbelt warning light go on and off when Mrs Tamer got in and out!

I try to try that out again!

With the cost of those RS4's, i would expect the seatbelt to play a little tune instead of just a bong like us poor people's cars!

I was told that by the local dealer when I was looking at a GTI or R32 last year
The price list currently has this

"10 Please note front seat back storage pockets, driver’s and front passenger’s
whiplash-optimised head restraints, lumbar adjustment and seat belt
warning light are not available with ‘Recaro’ sports seats."

I think the ordinary seats have occupancy sensors, so they know if the seat is occupied...try putting a heavy bag on a standard GTI passenger seat, and the dash will start "binging" to remind you to put the seatbelt on!

Well, they sort of play a "tune" - when the bolsters automatically tighten and relax during hard cornering

like us poor people's cars!

Yebut - the GTI/R32 Recaros arn't the same as the RS4 Recaros.  Whilst they may share the same bucket "shell", the RS4 ones have a much greater range of adjustments.
