Utter bollocks! Find some better mates!

The 16v beats an 8v on all figures!
What an 8v does do is bring its puny amount of torque in earlier, thats all.

Why have a VR6 when you can get a 16v to push out 173.7 bhp! With just a K&N and a Magnex exhaust! :smug:

hello mate  mk3 for comfort 8 valve or 16valve both ok . this is just a 1.8 and after a little fiddle gte 130 bhp out of it

Right , dont shout at me  :rolleyes: i  looked a t a car today and should be collecting it sunday!!  :grin: :grin:

1997 5 door black gti 8v 107k fvwsh 2 owners alarm stereo + cd changer full heated leather aircon trip computer 4 leccy windows  leccy mirrors and usual gti stuff - quite clean few litle bumper scuffs and light scratches but drives ok .......................now where did i put those RS4 rimz?????

 more of a sleeper! plus less likely for some oik to nick  :kiss:

its my first golf so will see if i like it, stepping down from an M5  so yes its second best to my old 320bhp monster  :wink:

Mate nothing wrong with an 8v, or any GTI...I smashed up my 230bhp S40 T4, so totally agree that to me there aint gonna be that much of difference between 8v or 16v although appreciate there is?!
