engine code/bhp
« on: 29 March 2007, 12:53 »
Just got me a K-reg Mk3 1.8 CL low cost work horse.
Trying to work out what the engine code and the BHP is. Any clues?

I've looked for the usual sticker in the boot, couldn't find it. Taken a look at the engine and still can't find a code to indicate which block it is.

Where else would I be able to find out the engine code ?

cheers

I only just got the V5 back, so haven't checked that, will do later.
Hadn't thought about the MOT cert either.

Cheers chaps.
