What Tyres?
« on: 28 March 2007, 14:33 »
I've currently got Firestone Firehawk SZ80 tyres all round and are still very legal. But i'm finding occasionally that the front wheels quite slippery at low speeds, somebody suggested i change to Michelins?

The car is mk3 GTi 2.0 8v 95' with original alloys (9-spoke) 205/50R15 86v, what do most people use?

i use bf goodridge, i think alot depends on whether they are summer, winter or all year tyres and how much they cost. cheaper tyres tend to be a harder compound.

Softest i found was yokohama's but nice and grippy! But of course dont last long!
Pirelli are good for both wear and grip.
