Ratty's red 3dr Edition 30
« on: 27 March 2007, 12:39 »
Hi guys!

This is a joint account I've created for myself (James) and my step-dad (Keith) to use, as we're both big car nuts, and for some reason always share accounts on all the car forums we're members of!

Anyway, what better way to use our first post than to show off pics of Keith's new toy - an Edition 30! He's only done ~500 miles and already changed the wheels (for 19" BBS CK). Hopefully he might be along to post for himself in a bit!

Cheers,

James

Cheers for the comments guys. Going to try to persuade Keith to get it tweaked a bit once run in. Is it true the engine is a detuned S3 engine, rather than a tuned GTI engine? The massive gains to be had from a remap alone seem to suggest that.

Standard wheels are sat in the garage.

Nice motor...
Hows the ride with the elastic bands for tyres?!!

I think the red looks stunning and really stands out.  The only downside is that you dont notice the cool red bit round the grille the same as you do on any other colour.

Doesn't that just perfectly demonstrate the wheels it should have been supplied with?! :)
