Hello to you all

Bought a Golf GTi 8v today, So i thought i should get into the dubbing forums.

Heres my car.

Its an F reg 8v GTi small bumper. The car is in absolute mint condition. Only problem is that the back left arch has bubbling near the arch, but this will be sorted out, with a new metal plate. Apart from that it is spotless. The car has a genuine 89k miles on it with a recorded service for every year it has been alive. So thats a service for every 12month/5kmiles miles. In the last year it has done approx 300 miles. Drives like a dream, gearbox is very direct and tight as is the clutch. The car has only had one owner from new, and the woman i bought it off of was knocking on 65ish, so she bought it when she was around 45ish. The car also has power steering.

Heres some pictures.

Tell me what you think to my motor, i dont mean to toot my own horn but toot toot its one of the best condition gti's around today.

First thing ive got to do with the car is get the origional BBS wheels, and then there will only be small things, maybe even the big bumpers could go onto it, undecided at the mo.

i would keep the small bumpers get some nice bbs wheels and lower it a bit and get some nice front and rear lamps then it would look mighty fine lol

Cost me 1200, which i reckon is a bargain.

yeh it does look like it has been garaged, got told it was washed everyweek from new aswell.

I agree about the BBS wheels, i reckon the standard ones look great, especially when you spray the center black and leave a silver lip. Think i am going to go for the 16v rears as they looks much better, and some smoked headlamps, can you buy smoked high beam lamps anywhere?
