Dents are still there, so problem not sorted, thanks anyway. I forgot to mention that I hit a curb at at +- 140kph. That little incedent has so far cost me 2 tyres, a rim repair, wheel alignment and straightening. I noticed a clunking sound going over rough terain and upon inspection noticed that oil was leaking from the strut. OK, so I need to replace the strut, my question; while I'm at it I may as well fit gas struts. Are they much better and why, would I have to replace all four or would the front 2 be fine. If I decided to go the whole hog, what real benifit would I get from a lowering kit and which make would be best ?
Back to the dents, I suspect, now, that my left front wheel's meeting with the curb may be the cause of the roof dents. This is pretty puzzling, as all the body panels are still perfectley alligned, the sunroof is aswell. Is it possible that the energy from that knock could travel through to the roof and cause the wrinkling, without damaging anything else?
