Pick up my 2 month old GTI next friday,  UK metallic grey 5 door, full leather, ipod, multifunction wheel, winter kit, 18" alloys, rear parking sensors and xenons.
Initially went to have a look at the dealers red ED30 which did look nice, but was standard, got the GTI above with only 2k on the clock for 3k cheaper.
going to be a long week  , thanks to all for the advice/ comments,
could have gotten a bit cheaper buying import but this car just fit the things i wanted and i get it next week not in 3 months!

Hi, where are you getting the GTI from?  My dealer has a red Ed30 as a demo, so just wandering if its the same place.

Yes Nathan, its at Silverlink.  Took it out for a spin a few Fridays ago and didn't want to give it back  .  Post some pics as soon as you get the Ed30.    We'll have to RV somewhere when I get mine and have a blast around some great driving roads!

They had a demo car (I think it was red) that they sold to a dealer in Feb and they are expecting a customer ED30 in April/May.......?
Other than that I was told that they had sold their allocation.

That is the car it was returned by the dealer triple M motors i think as wife fell out with him and he sold it back! idiot, still had dealer trade plates on when I saw it they hadnt prep`d it
